Hello everyone,
I'm currently practicing the diatonic triads lesson in root position and something is confusing me.
In the key of Bb the notation shows that triad IV is Eb Major: Eb G B but it seems to me that we are playing Eb G Bb.
Same thing with the key of F, the notation shows that triad vii dim is E dim: E G B but I think we are playing E G Bb.
Am I completely mistaken or is there an error in the video?
Kindly
Jimmy
Hi Jimmy,
You're referring to ET14, at 6:27, right? I can't play the guitar now, but it seems you're right - the IV chord on screen prompt should be Eb G Bb (Eb Major Triad). I think it's just a typo.

Thank you Jimmy for letting us know about a typo.
So sorry about that! The sound is correct. You’re correct! Good job!
Thank you Hugo!

Thank you Hugo, thank you Tomo for confirming!
This made me scratch my head a bit haha.
Maybe we could edit the text below the video so that other people don't get mistaken.
Have a lovely day!
I think it's good to leave it there, as an "Asian-style teaching trap" for students, just to see if they are attentive or day dreaming in class, hahaha.
