Hey guys this thread is for my Jazz standards practice, im challenging myself to try play some jazz standards, so I will post my practice videos here. Im wanting to improve rhythm and learn some harmony / theory concepts

Ive been enjoying practicing this one, still rough round the edges though needs some work but here's where im at

I played this at 40 bpm swinging on 2&4

So great to hear this! Good job playing this jazz standard! You made me so happy!

A few things that can make this more productive.
1) Down beat should be longer
2) Your right hand should go wider.
3) Play all the strings when you go up stroke (A little tighter)
4) Your body should move with music.

In order to do that. You need to slow down. This tempo and feel is very ideal. But you need to set your technique straight so you need to slow down. Try to set your metronome at 60, 65, 70 on each beats. (1234) Try this again. Come back a week or 2 weeks.
