hey Chris , I think it can depend of which minor scale the chord are built on. im not 100% on this but
major 1-4-5 progression is all major chords
a melodic minor progression would be 1minor - 4major - 5major
a harmonic minor progression would be 1minor -4minor - 5 major
a natural minor progression would be 1minor- 4 minor -5 minor
I hope ive not added confusion here, this is also a learning curve for me too but thats why I think the 5 chord is major

This harmony is based on minor key and especially Harmonic Minor. Maj7 of Harmonic minor is M3 of V chord. Very special sound.
Good job! Minor triads. Please check your fingerings. Slightly different on 2nd inversion and 1st inversions. Always better to review the original lesson a few times.
You can play a little slower and sustain each chords a little longer.
Try not to make any sliding chord sounds.

When I run a one finger harmonic minor scale that makes sense, like I visually and audibly get it, but how does that relate to the chord progression in FTR 05.
