Hi Tomo, I love your teaching. When doing the One String / One Finger approach, is the goal to reach a point where the connection between my ears and the fretboard becomes so natural that I can play any note instantly without looking or overthinking? Should I just repeat it until it becomes pure second nature?
And if I build that deep familiarity with each individual string, will that naturally allow me to cross between strings fluidly and express any note I hear in my head? I’d love to hear your wisdom on this. Thank you!
Thank you Minsik for sharing your experince on One String / One Finger approach. It will take some time to digest this concept.
No overthinkng at all! Simple you can imagine any intervals in Major scale. So you need to sing these nores before you play it. When you practice this topic, do not use your eyes so focus on intervals. Very natural. So do not rush.
First do all C Major scale on all 6 strings. You need to play them ay the first time. Gradually you can imgine any intervals.
My pleasure!
Tomo
