This week I've been practicing the triad arpeggios in different keys/inversions from this lesson: https://tomovhxtv.vhx.tv/foundation-triads/videos/ftr-18-triad-arpeggios-level-4. I made a few recordings and realized that my muting was so bad. Finally in this one it's getting a little bit better, but still noise/mistakes here and there. I really want to get better at these because I think they will help with jazz soloing.
The tone is different because I sold my amp, so I'm using my son's Fender Rumble 25 bass amp until I get a new one.
Good stuff, Andy! Sounding pretty clean to me. I need to get back to the FTR lessons, but I've added too many new things to my practice recently. Glad this thread will be here when I get there.
I hear you — I got a little obsessed with this one and pushed everything off for the week. But I think I will keep this in my regular practice now.
Great job Andy for playing these triad arpeggios (two octaves)
You can also do same thing on 4321 set strings (one octave)
Dimished one is a little hard to do those fingerings.
These are a great tool for any jazzy improvisation.
Now you can work on picking tone quality.
Pick angle, any pick sound that you hear.
This topic is a great example of "Next Level"
Please keep going!
