I sincerely love that piece Scott.
I am not tooo familiar with quilting but my mom is very into it, has a whole room for it and sewing machine with a computer in it and has been asked to put up her stuff in shows.
I love the detail in your wife's embroidery! Please tell her it looks amazing and I hope she keeps going with it too man! :)
Loving the conversation above!
Aaah, the stages of new guitar love!
I was wiping down my red strat yesterday, all fancy and clean with new strings and a freshly oiled board...I saw a speck..a mote of almost nothing near the bridge and absent-mindedly used my almost-nothing fingernail behind the almost-new hundred percent cotton cloth to "clean". Then new scratches! Gah!!
Oh well, my first scratch was sitting on the sofa's arm, feet in seat, while reaching for my coffee with the guitar on...fell splat on my back with the guitar, ripped out the strap thing, whammied the wham bar somehow. I was ok (worried about the back nerves and all) but rushed immediately to the guitar shop, they're brand dealers, fixed it with some glue, felt washer and a toothpick, and said "well...now it really is yours!'" Haha.
Wham bar still bent though...did not notice until recently actually. It's a little farther out, kind of cool actually.
I whittled my collection down to top 5 (I have 4) like Tomo's student questionnaire list, but still have it, one of my favorite guitars. Hoping to put millions of pick scratches from R37 practice now, like Tomo's. Also I totally avoid sitting on the couch with any guitar now lol!
