Tomo
Thanks guys! Good job! I proud of everyone of you!
Like Sammi said... please don't think about result or outcome!
Very important to focus little things and keep your strong commitment and believing this deeply.
It's 9:11pm in SF (12:12pm EST)
My flight is at 11:10pm .. I am at the lounge now.
In two hours, I will be heading to Hong Kong *16 hours!
I think I will be arriving around 6am in Hong Kong/Macau
First day will be my guitar clinic!
Looking forward to it!
I post things on my Instagram, X and Facebook.
Thank you!

Day5 And attention to thumb position and palm muting is showing improvement :). The unwanted noise is reducing, slower the better with playing (checking occasionally with stop watch to see that I am getting at least a minute out of each round).
Thank you!
Good job!
Thumb position is super important!
Do more slower! That's so good!
Thank you!
Tomo
Day 6: done.
As I work through the checklist mentally, I found myself needing to work most on thumb position and sustaining that fourth note. But, after a few days, this pace is feeling more natural, and, as you said it’s would, calming. Ten minutes went by too fast.
Safe travels,

Good job!
Great! Thumb position & sustain longer!
I just finished my guitar clinic in Macau. Successful!
Thank you!
PS, Very important not to go over 10 minutes!

Week 1:Day 6
Focused on palm muting and moving my body. I am still a work in progress. Who knew these two items would be such a challenge?

Good job!
Not easy! You are doing it!
Simple thing is very sophisticated if you really know what to do!
Thank you.

Week 1: Day 6
I noticed that I tend to make more finger noise when transitioning from my ring finger to my pinky. I’ve been focusing on improving this to make my transitions smoother and quieter.
Thanks for sharing!
Do much slower!
Don't be afraid to sustain much longer!
Thank you.
Tomo
So far, so good. The only thing to mention is that putting your fingertips next to the fret on the lower ones is hard. But now I´m doing ok. I can focus on nearly every detail but I'm pushing the strings too hard and my left hand gets tired quickly. I feel comfortable with the exercise.
Great to hear that.
No need to thing where to put... as long as good sound...is good!
I never thought about my finger should be near the fret.
Good job!
Thank you!

Day 6 thoughts:
• The beautiful thing about a 5-minute exercise is the flexibility. It’s a do-able chunk of time. In my household, it can be almost impossible to get more than 5-10 minutes uninterrupted. Some days I can’t even get to the guitar at all. But I can almost always squeeze in five minutes to focus this or some other exercise. If I can attach it to a longer practice session, then great! But I like this chromatic reason to always stay “in-touch” with my guitar.
Thanks all.
Thanks for sharing!
Good job!
5 minutes ... so valuable! Even 3 minutes!
Less is more! 5-10 minutes means 6 minutes is great too!
If you do 11 minutes... not so great!
4 minutes good!
Thank you!
Tomo
Day 6 notes:
I focused on moving my body with the notes today and feeling each one.
I also worked on keeping my thumb in the centre of the neck, this is helping me in lots of my other playing.
Thank you
Max
Good job!
Body movement is so important!
Great to hear that!
Thumb position center or slightly lower than center.
Thank you.
Tomo
Day 6 chromatic scale of 10min. Focus on all noted practice items in my GW book with week 1. Today was a nice very quiet session that left me wanting to play a song off a record I don't even know how to play, yet :). Maybe try to sound it out. Was an interesting lead into what to play next. Amazed.
Good job!
Please make sure that do not go over 10 minutes!
Great to hear that!
Thank you.
Tomo
Focused on posture today sitting up straight relaxing shoulders and relaxing elbow. Still need to work on this and chip away at it. The picking definitely felt more natural today not sure why, noticed I didn’t have to think about it as much as the first five nights. Good night everyone.
Posture is super important!
Good job! Relax even more!
So much slower! You will notice more!
Thank you.
