Thanks Jeffrey! Hope you're doing great too. My practice is mostly limited to technique right now due to so much time being spent with hand exercises, but gradually coming along.

That poster is Tomo's songbook with detail sitting on my music stand. I'll crack it open at some point. Enjoy the weekend!

Try slower!

Now you can use a little more dynamics.
Especially pick a bit softer on lower notes.
You can use more dynamics on single note melody.

Maybe you need a little more volume.
You want to feel a little more difficult to pick because volume is loud enough so if you can not pick normal volume...

Thank you Jiayang! Yes, this is the guitar that my mom bought for me in 1980! It’s truly special to me. So glad you enjoyed the piece. Mr. Leavitt wrote so beautifully in just the first four frets of the guitar!

My hand is settling down, and as I dictate this to you, I’m warming it up for more exercises! I’m gonna get there, so I keep going like you and Tomo often say! Thank you!

Now you can practice this for a while and go slower & go softer and softer!
Especially press less from left hand and hold a pick softer. (Easy to say & so hard to do!)

Also, it ‘feels’ like if I were to press the left hand softer the strings would buzz, hence the grip on F- and that F#0 shape. Any thoughts?
