Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Hello everyone, this is my very first post and I am a lot embarrassed! I can't believe it took me a couple of months to get the very first execise in Leavitt book one to this very poor level but professor Fujita's four mottos encourage me to move on to exercices 2-4 which I expect will be a little easier now that I have gotten through exercise one. Then I will come back and re-post exerise one when I have more confidence.

Welcome to the forums, Richard :) I am so glad you posted. Your video is inspiring, as is your approach to take as much time as you need before feeling ready to move on. Thank you so much for sharing your practice with us.
PS I am not surprised that it took a couple of months to get where you are now; this pure hard work takes time! Keep on going, slow and steady!

I am Blown away! To think that Professor Fujita has taken the time to show me how the fundaments I am just starting to learn from him will help me play my favorite song and many other similar favorites in my favorite style and Step by Step is completely outside my understading of how the world works... And so is all the supportive, uplifting and gracious comments by all or you! You are all amazing! Anyway, here is my nervous practice effort at exercise SR02 or Leavitt exercise 2.

The tapping you hear is my foot, not a metronome. I will tone it down and be more natural in future exercises. I hope this one shows that I have paid attention to Professor Fujita's comments and suggestions from exercise 1 and some small improvement.
