Welcome to Week 2 of the July Challenge!
Great job to everyone who practiced D Major Triad Inversions last week! Your dedication and comments truly make this challenge special. Let's keep going...
This week’s focus: C Major Triad Inversions
Your Assignment:
- Watch Tomo’s Week 2 video lesson (linked below)
- Take notes!
- Practice for 5–10 minutes each day
- Use this thread to share your daily progress and connect with others!
Note:
1. I’m sharing this a little early this week to fit different time zones. Technically, Week 2 starts tomorrow, but for those living in the future 😎, it's already underway! Feel free to begin Week 2 whenever it feels right for you.
2. New to the challenge or joining us late? Don't worry! Just start from the beginning and hop into the Week 1 thread. We’d love to see your notes and hear how it’s going. Everyone’s welcome, no matter when you jump in.
We’re here to support each other and learn together. Remember: Don't worry! Don't compare! Don't expect too fast! Be kind to yourself! You are so special!
Looking forward to seeing your updates!

I'm traveling so I only have my ukulele. I'm applying the triads to ukulele. the top 4 strings are the same (at least same concept). Now I can do all the triads and I can go up the neck in G C D F Am Em. I will try to master it and not take more than 1 second to move to the next inversion.
When I get home I will do on my guitar which is going to be harder for sure because of more strings. Plus it's electric, so it's going to be more ringy.
Thank you Grace for Week 2.
Have a safe travel! You can still do One String Approach.
A little different tuning so location of notes are slighly different.
Very important to sustain each note longer. Pracrtice triad inversion on One String.
Then you can practice 3 notes on 123 set string.
