Like I said in my introduction, I’ve been playing the guitar for 7months. During this time I almost didn’t get into theory and all I did was play songs basically(at least I went from boring songs to songs I actually enjoy).
So where should I start?
I started with the theory section, but there were parts that required knowledge in how chords are structured and somethings were a bit too fast paced for me to catch up to.
I considered starting from the first beginner lessons but they seem like the first lessons a guitar player has.
What would you guys recommend me?
I’ll answer any questions, I’m just looking for the optimal way for me to learn. I don’t want to keep progressing without fully understanding some concepts.
Thank you Kohri for this great question!
We are so lucky that we have many great teachers here!
Thank you Kurt & Clay for your suggestions! You guys are so great!

3) Triad Inversions (Learn name of notes, intervals & Do Mi So = singing)

4) R 3 7 Swing Groove (Left hand muting & Right hand strumming)

5) Sight-reading / Method Book (Muting techniques)

Pick 2-3 sections and pick 2-3 lessons and stay there for a few weeks. My first year... all I did was chromatic scale exercises so that when I started to learn chords & phrasing... it was very quick to learn because I built my fingering & picking technique before learning what to play on guitar.
Special thanks to George who organized these lessons!
Amazing! So easy to follow!
Thank you.
