Where to start?

My apologies if this is a duplicate thread. I do not see very well, so it is hard for me to search/ find old threads.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any guidance that I might get.

I am curious as to where to start/ where to go after. I am choosing to start in the first triads course (I am VERY comfortable with scales/ key sigs) but I have no idea where I should head after that.

If there is already a thread (which there probably is) that has recommendations just direct me there. Thank you again!

Hey Matthew -
One thing that didn't exist when I joined but does now is Tomo's Guitar Wisdom book. If you want a "step by step" approach, the book does that. It has its own video links for each lesson. But the cool thing as a GW member is that you can keep going deeper for any topic. For example, Chapter 3 is all about rhythm basics, then strumming and picking rhythm. It has like 6 or 7 videos. But you can also find a few more lesson videos on GW. And then, you can find like 20 more videos on both strumming and picking rhythm in the Forums with even more focus / detail. So you could spend a month or more just on rhythm technique and details starting with the book, then digging deeper with all of the GW resources.

thank you for taking the time to respond. I had no idea there was a book! I'll have to ask my girlfriend to help me go through it. I do really like repetition when it comes to new information, so I will probably do something close to what you recommend when I can get a copy. I appreciate your encouragement.
