Hello, GW friends!
Welcome to Week 4 of the July Challenge! I think some of you knew where we were headed, but now it's official :)
This week’s focus: Combining G, C, and D triad inversions in 1 key
(Key of G: I IV V)
You know the drill!
- Watch Tomo’s Week 4 video lesson
- Take notes!
- Practice for 5-10 minutes daily
- Share your updates and encouragement!
As a reminder, I’m sharing this a bit early to support our friends around the world. At this point in the month, many of us are on different days, so don't worry!
Let’s keep on sharing and showing each other the way 💛

Very excited for the week to come. Thank you for sharing.
Great guidance, but also much Guitar Wisdom: "Understand with your fingers"
Thank you Linda!
“Understand with your fingers”
Learn with the sounds!

I love this challenge. Yesterday I was playing the three triads on one string approach without looking at the fretboard and when playing D, something was wrong; then I realised that I was playing the G triad starting at the 5th not the D triad so i mixed both: the D triad starting on the root and G starting on the fifth just for fun. I'm definitely improving my ear skills with this new challenge.
Love to hear it, Christian! Thanks so much for sharing
